Capabilities in Custom Molded Rubber – A Unique and Advantageous Partnership

In October 2024, Michael J. Myhal, president of TMI Inc. — a custom molded rubber manufacturer based in Austintown, OH — acquired JILco. Although TMI and JILco continue to operate independently, they maintain a close partnership that offers exceptional efficiency for products requiring both rubber and metal components. Together, they manage the entire production process—from the initial quote to final shipment—collaborating closely to monitor quality, make adjustments as needed, and ensure seamless coordination. Beyond custom rubber molding, TMI provides additional services including mold design, bonding, production of non-metallic die-cut parts, and more. Keeping these operations in-house guarantees a cost-effective, high-quality product with faster turnaround times. Furthermore, JILco and TMI’s extensive network of vendors and partners enables them to support a wide range of multi-material and large-scale assembly projects.
